Continuing Education Resources

Continuing education is necessary to maintain a high level of knowledge and skills in pharmacy practice. During the two-year period prior to recertification, certified pharmacy technicians must participate in at least 20 hours of continuing education (CE), including at least one hour of pharmacy law. Additional CE credits earned cannot be carried over to the next recertification period.

NOTE: The following websites are provided only as resources to certified pharmacy technicians seeking sources of CE credits. These were collected and provided as a service by the Institute for the Certification of Pharmacy Technicians, however technicians may utilize any acceptable source for CE credits.
